Days after it started tailing a ship hijacked by Somalian pirates, Indian Navy warship INS Kochi was allowed to evacuate a crew member of commercial vessel MV Ruen. The hijackers let Indian Navy personnel transfer the crew member to their ship due to serious injuries. Indian Navy personnel treated the sailor onboard, and then took him to an onshore hospital. MV Ruen was hijacked on December 14, and was located by an Indian Navy aircraft a day later. Watch the full video for more.
