Seven Days to the River Rhine (Russian: «Семь дней до реки Рейн) was a top-secret military simulation exercise developed in 1979 by the Warsaw Pact. The Plan would have seen Soviet, East German, & Polish Forces quickly Advance through the Relatively open terrain of the Fulda Gap, Rapidly Blitzing Infantry and Tanks Through the Strategically important region towards the West German City of Frankfurt, and the Rhein-Main Air Force base providing NATO Forces Air Cover. Due to the Cold War never going hot, and the Presence of Nuclear Weapons in the militaries of Both Sides, The plan never occured and its potential outcomes remain completely theoretical.
