Authorities have arrested a suspect following an hours-long standoff on a freeway in Harris County, Texas.

Aerial footage shows SWAT officers move in on the truck after using a battering ram to rip out sections of the side of the 18-wheeler.

Officials said it all began when a patrol unit noticed a stalled 18-wheeler. The deputy attempted to make a traffic stop but the driver took off.

The I-10 was shut down in both directions but has since reopened.
