In an Israeli strike near the Syrian capital that killed a senior general with Iran's Revolutionary Guards, three more fighters lost their lives, according to a report from AFP.
The targeted individual was Razi Moussavi, the highest-ranking commander in the Quds Force, the foreign branch of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), marking the first such killing outside Iran in nearly four years.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights war monitor confirmed the casualties, stating that two foreign fighters and one Syrian fighter were among those killed in the Israeli strike on Monday.
