High up in Europe's North lies the kingdom of brown bears. Hidden in the forests of Finland, Sweden, and Norway, thousands of bears live there to this day. In the middle of winter, the females give birth to their cubs. For months, the bear cubs remain close to their mother and are warmed and suckled, before the triplets begin to discover their world outside of the cave. Together with the three cubs - the band of bears - this exceptional nature documentary takes us on a journey of discovery in Scandinavia's wild forests, from the mighty moose, clever wolves, forest reindeer, and hovering flying squirrels.
