Holiday-makers are preparing for potential travel chaos, with parts of China and India shrouded in thick fog. More than 600 flights have been delayed in various Chinese cities, including Shanghai and Hebei. China has issued a red alert for fog for the first time since 2017. Meanwhile, in India, authorities said foggy conditions will continue through the new year.
