The area 13 Law Enforcement Polar Plunge raised more than $100,000 for the Special Olympics of Michigan.The annual event, which is on its thirteenth year, took place at the Moose Lodge on Lake Fenton, where more than 300 participants plunged into the cold waters of Lake Fenton.All the funds from the Polar Plunge go to supporting Athletes in the Special Olympics of Michigan. The funds from the Plunge help pay for Athletes to participate in tournaments, Winter Games, Summer Games, transportation and sweatshirts for the Athletes to remember the events they attend.
