Marvel's The Punisher is a finely paced series, bordering miniseries, with a stellar cast and great visuals.
Jon Bernthal excels in his role as Frank Castle - The Punisher, and his journey through these two seasons and the journey the side characters go through are partly what makes the show very watchable.
What really kept me immersed though was its excellent use of violence. Especially in terms of how well executed it was (giving the illusion that there are more action scenes in the show than there actually are). But additionally, how violence plays a crucial thematic role in the show really tying everything together and being maybe the focal point of the series' storytelling.
Hope you enjoy my brief and spoiler-free review of it. And if you do, consider subscribing or at least stay tuned for the 2nd part of my talk about Marvel TV-series.
