Today's video is a compilation of 5 types of Florentine steaks that I prepared in the past and I will take you with me to discover the origin and the different characteristics. Together we also see how to cook each of them and which cooking methods to use.
Cooking on a wood, charcoal and gas barbecue, how to make a Florentine steak in your home oven and what the so-called "reverse searing" cooking method consists of.
Let's discover the Irish Black Angus Florentine, whose flavor is a riot of tastes tending to sweetish thanks to the external fat layer and the natural marbling that characterizes this bovine breed, renowned for its high fat infiltrations that give a better flavor and succulence only.
We also see the Florentine Aventador of Spanish origin, a very precious and extremely juicy cut thanks to its perfect marbling, coming from cattle raised between the north of Portugal and Spain.
We then move on to the Finnish Sashi Beef, where the term sashi derives from the Japanese and means fat. This meat has won the title as the best beef in the world and is something crazy, super soft and really juicy.

And finally La Rubia Gallega, also winner of the 'World's Best Steak' award as the best steak in the world. It is a highly sought-after cut, which comes from specimens with an age ranging from 4 to 12 years.
