Fox Corporation launching an artificial intelligence verification tool is the “beginning of a long fight” between companies and AI, The Australian's Media Writer Sophie Elsworth says.
Fox Corporation launched the tool which uses blockchain technology to both verify authenticity of news content and negotiate deals with companies developing AI models.
“This is very, very serious stuff,” Ms Elsworth told Sky News Australia host Caleb Bond.
“This could cost a lot of jobs – not just in the media Caleb but in so many industries worldwide.”
“This is the beginning of what is going to be a long fight of companies vs AI.”
