August 25th, 2023... Sandusky Michigan.
Police are called to Hope Thrift Store where a 19 year old Andrew Jewell allegedly attempted to force an 8 year girl into the bathroom. Jewell, was doing community service work at the thrift store at the time.

Andrew Jewell faces several charges for this incident, one of them being attempted kidnapping. In September a judge ordered a psych evaluation for Jewell that will likely pause any court proceedings for at least a few months.
In the Saginaw case from 2022, Jewell pleaded no contest for assault and battery charges for following a 10 year old girl into a bathroom at the local theater. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail and 2 years of probation... That was the "fight" he said he was in trouble for to the officer...
Jewell is being held on a $50,000 bond and is awaiting his day in court... I hope they throw the book at him, and sadly for offenders like this, the book is never large enough.
