This is a review of the Radtel RT-470X ham radio HT - a low-cost amateur radio that is not locked (like a mars mod) so it can transmit on the ham radio 2meter and 40cm bands, GMRS, MURS, FRS, and on pretty much any frequency up to around 520Mhz - very similar to how the amateur radio operators do a "mars mod" on their ham radios.. This ham (amateur radio) HT is easy to use and has some nice features. And did I mention that the ham radio is not locked, basically already mars-modded and it costs less than $50?
Clarification: Even though the Radtel RT-470X ham radio is not locked to ham amateur radio frequencies, and can receive AM AirBand, the 470X is not able to transmit on Airband frequencies.
