Stocks of artillery shells, air defense missiles and other critical supplies are running low in Ukraine. The administration of US President Joe Biden says it has spent nearly everything appropriated to fund equipment and supplies for Ukraine’s fight and Republicans in Congress have blocked further aid. Across Europe support seems to be waning for Kyiv. DW’s Sarah Kelly sat down with Ukraine’s ambassador to Germany to discuss if Ukraine can still win or whether it is stuck in a World War One-type stalemate as Western support for democracy and freedom waver.
