Indian Badminton singles player Saina Nehwal is an Olympic bronze medallist and the only female player from India and overall the second Indian player – after Prakash Padukone – to become the World No. 1. She represented India three times in the Olympics. At the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, she won the Bronze medal for India and thereby became the country's first-ever Olympic Badminton medallist.
